Beautiful to be remade in Hindi

After the recent hit 'Bodyguard', and soon-to-be-remade 'Traffic', it is now time for V K Prakash���s Malayalam film 'Beautiful' to be remade in Bollywood. Sources inform us that the film will be remade in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil too. Confirming the report, the films actor and scriptwriter Anoop Menon says, ���Yes, Beautiful will be remade in all the four languages and the remake rights of the film have been sold for a whopping 1 crore,��� he says.
Ranvir Shorey, Konkona Sen and Vinay Pathak are said to have been signed up to play the three main lead roles. ���Prakash is good friends with both Ranvir Shorey and Vinay Pathak,��� points out Anoop. "The screenplay of the Bollywood version would be similar to the original, but we are not clear about who will write the dialogues as of now. Also, the story will be tweaked for the Bollywood audience," he says.
Though the star cast will be different, the Hindi version is expected to be directed by V K Prakash himself. This will mark Prakash���s second Bollywood venture, the first one being 'Freaky Chakra', which starred Ranvir along with Deepti Naval. Interestingly, Anoop will be acting in it too, but not as the lead actor. ���I will be reprising Tini Tom���s role in the movie. That character has an interesting shade. Also, I am not too well versed in Hindi to pull off being a hero or a central character,��� says Anoop.
Meghana Raj, who presented a rocking performance in the Mollywood version, says no one has approached her for the remake versions so far. However, she says, ���I better be part of it. 'Beautiful' is one movie that changed my career.���
While the Kannada version of the same film was to star Sudeep as one of the lead characters, the actor tells us that he may have to opt out of the project as he is not be able to accommodate dates for the same.
